Has there been any thought to creating different versions or add-ons of DVD Profiler to track other items such as xbox and playstation games.  I think it would be very easy to do.....I would use it as I have over 150 games.

Yes Larry, plenty of people have given this thought in the past and asked for all kinds of Profilers, I even see a request for Beer Profiler, whatever good that would do
The reasons are many why we have not seen this yet (and probably never will).
Here are a few;
The company is run by a family, as I recall a rather large family (lots of children). Only one programmer with limited time to spare on this program and the mobile version.
Add to that, the invelos community with various requests and support issues that crave this single programmers attention, daily. Well, there is not much time left for another Profiler program, if you ask me.

However, you might want to drop into the Plugins forum here ar invelos.com to check if there might be someone there that is interested in taking you up on your idea.

Oh, and welcome!

You could always create a database called "Games" and enter your "Games" into that "Games" database and keep all your info local since you cannot upload it.

I've been thinking abiout doing something like that for my PS3 games, but I am too lazy to actually start

I think the perspective that you are missing (and you're not the first by any means) is that the real power of DVDPro lies not only in it's cataloging functions. DVDPro consists of a bundle of powerful metaphors tied to GUI tools that make it easy to manage a library of mainly movies in DVD format. But even that is just the tip of the iceberg. The online database, hosted by Invelos, and diligently populated by a community of devoted users, makes registering and maintaining a large repository of DVD media a breeze. Pop in the DVD, or type in a title snippet, or barcode - and BAM! - profile filled out (and updated as improvements are available).

There is nothing else needed for you use DVDPro to track anything, including pencils. Just create a manual profile, and fill it out. But then DVDPro is reduced to not much more than a MS/Access datadase. The reason I am going into this detail, is that I fell into the same "trap." Man, this program is so good, it could track anything. Then I started using it - and discovered that the program is just a part of the story.

I hope this helps you understand some of the other comments - and maybe even a bit of frustration.

Anyway, glad you're lovin' DVDPro!
Thanks for your support.
