| Posted: | | | | As it's apparently a matter of opinion ( ) I'll give mine: Commentary. For if to be "Music Only", I'd expect only music on the track, not the composer (or others) commenting on things at the same time. "Other" seems to broad and I'd most likely expect another language, but not an Isolated score with commentary. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. | Posted: | | | | If they're like the one I've got then there's only commentary when there's no music, otherwise what would be the point! My personal opinion would be "Music Only" |

| Posted: | | | | This is a difficult one. I tend to agree with ya_shin. "Music Only" is defenitely out of the question, you would really expect music without any commenting/talking (except when it's part of the the music red.). But maybe the same goes for "Commentary", because you expect someone to comment on the movie and not on the music score. But the phrase "Commentary" doesn't state the subject or object which it refers to. When it's "Movie Commentary" then it's clear, but now I'm going for "Commentary". | | | Cor |

| Posted: | | | | first off: music only with commentary...i call it a waste of an isolated score track... but seriously. i have at least five of these: Crimson Rivers Edward Scissorhands Final Destination Hellboy The Matrix All of them are showing Music Only and Commentary. i don't see too much wrong with this. it utilizes existing checks boxes without getting into a lot of interpretations. my only other choice would be putting it in the Other field: Isolated Score with Commentary. krik | | | "Vampirism is still not a disease, Julia. Commentaries are almost always accompanied with background sound, and whether that's the full or isolated score makes no difference. | | | Martin Zuidervliet

Music Only: To me this is out because if does have a commentary and isn't 100% music only
Other: This was my first choice, but in a way it doesn't really fit either as it can mean many things to people.
Commentary: This would be my pick. Even though a few dvds audio commentaries contain some 'blank' spots or when the participants stop talking the regular soundtrack comes up - we still call them commentaries. So in this case, even though the audio commentary contains music, I still would consider it as an audio commentary.
Perhaps the best answer would be the addition of another audio field called "Isolated Score with commentary" - or something similar to that. |
