I think the name Slip Cover should be changed to O-Card, as this appears to be the official name and stops the confusion with Slip Case which looks more like a cardboard box without a lid.

The problem with that is: who knows what an O-Card is?

I have to confess it's the first time I've heard about it. (Not claiming to be a representative sample, obviously...    )

But I do think it would be a concept that would require endless explanation...

Perhaps you're right, not to mention the fact that sometimes the sleeve is made out of plastic.

I agree... I have been collecting DVDs for many years now... and never in my life heard of O-Card.

It just a name we could get used to, just like the other strange names we find in the case type selection.

I personally would be against it what with already being used to what we have now... and it being  something that at least makes sense.

I agree just more confusion and arguments. Should we Amray for those cases that require it, instead of Keep Case, after all that has become almost Generically related to Keeps, and Amray DOES make the majority.

O-Card / Sleeve

O-What?!

I took a glance at that PDF document, but it seems to me that the O-Card as defined there ("cardboard, open on two sides") is not the same as the "Slip Cover" check box in DVD Profiler (actually, any slip cover or slip case containing one other case).
