| Posted: | | | | I just found out that the online system doesnt show any titles that have the rating 18 If i remember right the old site let you choose what is shown and what is not, does anyone know how to fix it or if it can be fixed? It blocks about 60 titles, including e.g. The 4400 sets, cause here NR = 18. |

Every NR (and even one Adult, starts with a 'T' ) is online. I have "Adult Titles" checked under the Online Collection settings. In my local profiler the "parental control" was disabled in the installation and looks like this: cya, Mithi PS As a cross-check: could you give me a UPC of one of your no-show-titles? | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

Well e.g. '28 päivää myöhemmin [6420614646458]' and '28 viikkoa myöhemmin [6438044131451]' should be there. I have some adult titles that i dont want to show in my Online Collection. So on website i dont have Adult titles allowed either on public or private collection. On DVDP i have set Adult definition as having Adult rating. I remember the old IVS site asking what definition this site should use to define Adult, and there was an option to choose the same setting the program uses. But seems the function has been changed | | | Last edited: by whispering |

| Posted: | | | | Unfortunately the only solution I can think of to get round this is to move your adult titles into a different database. Then you can safely upload your normal collection and allow adult titles to be shown in your collection, but you'd have to keep switching databases to check for updates etc. and you wouldn't be allowed to vote on contributions to your adult titles. Until Ken either allows us to define what adult means, or allows us to pick and choose which titles get uploaded, I can't think of any other way of doing it! |

I have a fair few adult titles in my collection, which i dont want to be displayed. Thats why i cant turn the 'Show Adult Titles' on. Quoting northbloke: Quote: but you'd have to keep switching databases to check for updates etc. and you wouldn't be allowed to vote on contributions to your adult titles. Here comes the problem, i want to contribute (actually have 7 contributions pending ATM), get updates and vote on the adult titles. I think the only solution would be that, the site allowes to display 18 rated titles, even if that means a warning of some sort would be displayed. What makes this strange is that now you dont even get a warning when you watch someones collection that has adult titles | | | Last edited: by whispering |

| Posted: | | | | Pardon me if I'm missing the point here or not but what if you were to modify the rating in your local for those adult titles you do want to see in your online collection and leave the rating as is for those you don't want to show? |

But I guess I could have added the caveat. |

I don't think this would work as the online collection webpage would get probably get's its rating info from the online database not your local one. However, it's worth a try to see what happens! I'm at work now so can't do it just yet, but maybe later tonight I'll give it a go. |

| Posted: | | | | I think it's absurd that we can't display our NC-17 titles publicly. I just upgraded to (and paid for) version 3 and now I'm getting less than what I was getting with the free version of 2. There's no reason for Bad Lieutenant and The John Waters Collection, Vol. III (both NC-17) to be considered "Adult" in the same way that XXX films are. Of course they show up with "Show In Private Listing" checked -- but that doesn't help me when I want people to see everything I own (I don't put XXX titles in this database ) | | | http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/jgeoff | | | Last edited: by jgeoff |

| Posted: | | | | You'd have to check "Adult" in "Show in Public Listing" too. Then it should work. In Germany at least it works with FSK18 and here the censors don't distinguish between "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "Anal Phabetism" ( ) | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! "Show in Public Listing" is checked in My Profiler, just like your screenshot except Show Private isn't checked (otherwise there's no way to see if it's displayed publicly, right? ) In the application itself, it looks just like Mithi's screenshot The first link in my sig doesn't show Bad Lieutenant, but the second does. | | | http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/jgeoff |
