Why does the "Add DVD to Collection" action "Clear All Filters"?

I often set a couple of filters to get a list of profiles that need additional information. Then when I try to add a dvd to the collection it clears the filters I've set. I want it to be able to add a dvd (or two) to the collection without clearing the filters.

Ahh, but that was not what I was looking for (this time)... 

I want to use/see the filtered list in the background, as I add sibling profiles (hunting for, say Credit data).

Of course, the source problem is the fact that DVD Profiler does not cross link its Credits data between profiles with same Title, Region, Prod. year but has a different locality. But that is an entirely different story.

The "Add DVDs ..." window is modular, which means I can not access the main program while it is active e.g. I can't scroll "View Flagged" plugin window.
But, thanks goodguy for the workaround, I guess this has to do for now 

Although, I can not phantom why it is needed to clear the filters before the "Add DVDs ..." window appears, I mean, if it is really necessary to clear the filters at all, it might as well be cleared after the "Add Now to ..." button in "Add DVDs ..." window have been pressed.

Yes, it does and setting the "Add DVDs ..." window non-modular would solve that.
