| | Posted: | | | | I know that this is kind of like jumping ship or something. But I noticed on an old forum of yours someone asking about a vhs profiler. I don't think you necessarily need separate software, I think this would be even better software if the option was there to add vhs tapes.
Don't get me wrong...I don't watch vhs too much anymore. But I have tonnes of vhs movies that I can't get via dvd for whatever reason, most likely discontinued. All I am saying is there are currently options for hddvd and brdvd disks. It wouldn't take much to offer vhs tapes as well. It would probably make it so you wouldn't be able to call dvd profiler, dvd profiler anymore. Have to call it movie profiler or something. LOL!
That's all I wanted to ask though...if you gave this option you would open up another market, all be it a closing market. Like people who still love records over cd's. |

In my area at least you can't get VHS tapes any longer... can't even get VCR any longer other then the ones that are combined with DVD players. And I am sure it is only a matter of time before we stop seeing those as well. This sounds like a huge step backwards to me personally.
And like Dr. Killpatient said... if you want something here for VHS you can always add manual profiles to take care of them. | | | | Pete |

There are enough useful feature request that deal with DVDs or HD media that benefit most users whereas functions to manage VHS would only benefit a fraction of users (for example, I do not own a VCR anymore, because I replaced all VHS tapes with DVD). |
