| Posted: | | | | Hi! Just wanted to contribute a limited edition box containing a disc being already released as another edition. So the dvd is simply a repack for a new limited edition. The box has no upc (limited to 500 pieces) so the only way to get it online is to use the disc id. Since being in the database for the other edition I see no way to upload the new box. Is there any way to get such repacks into the database?
This problem refers to the german movie "Nekromantik" European Edition and the 20th Anniversary Edition which I wanted to contribute now.
Thanks for any help! |

The only other thing I can think of to possibly get it into the database if it has no UPC/EAN and the Disc ID is already there from a previous release is to PM Ken and see if he can fix it so it can be contributed some how on his end.
But no... I see no way possible to do it on our end. | | | Pete |

Thanks for any help! Was going to add as well,, If the set is limited to only 500.. Why Contribute?? Not that I would wish to take away from the other 499 DVD owners,, but chances are very good that there could never be any other seekers looking for info on that set. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

So it will be the most comprehensive database in the vorld! I contributed my Psychos in Love, limited to only 200 and nearly the same circumstances, except it didn't share disc ID if I recall correctly. It's in my collection and the database for the simple fact that I own it and am a member/contributor to the database. You never know when someone might just use the database to see if certain obscure flicks exist on dvd in any form, so it should be included IMO. Think I'll do something with my PIL disc to see if any of the other 199 are here. I probably misspelled a word or name somewhere on the profile. |

I recently acquired a dvd of which only 666 were made and I'm glad someone else entered the profile so, no, I don't agree with you at all. Plus someone may not have the dvd but may want to find info on it so it's wothwhile to put it in for that reason also. | | | Last edited: by Bodi |
