| Posted: | | | | If I do a backup, there are these two options available. What's there use? What is an unused tag and what is the full user database?
Usually I choose the profiles only because I can download the covers and the cast/crew database again... |

If you deselect "include full user database", you won't back up that watched/borrowed data. If you then restore from that backup, the data will be lost. If you don't use that data, then it doesn't matter.
"Unused tags" refers to tags that you might have set up but never assigned to a profile. If you deselect that option, you won't back up those tags and they would be lost on a restore. If you have no tags, or if all of your tags are used at least once, then it doesn't matter. | | | ...James

| Posted: | | | | If I understand it myself, the unused tags are custom tags you created, but are not associated to any profiles. In other words, if you created them and are nto using them, do you still want to back them up. The full user database is if you have different users set up in DVDP for the purposes of who watched what movie and when and things like that. | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. |
