| Posted: | | | | Here is a scan that is in my database as of today. I have checked to be sure I did not have the cover "locked" and I do not. I then went online to "refresh" image and this is what I get. | Posted: | | | | It looks like skipnet50 has uploaded this profile (including covers) 14-Mar-2007. This has been the gold rush day where everybody has uploaded all his profiles converted from the Intervocative database in order to fill the Invelos database. But not everything went smooth that day. IRC Ken had to restart the server several times during that phase. Therefore not every contribution has been noted in the contribution notes. I know of several profiles where my name is shown in the contribution notes for that day, but the data is from somebody else. Another interpretation would be that skipnet50 is a Blockbuster after all. |

| Posted: | | | | The scans might just be holdovers from the intervoatice and Skip got credit because he just submitted the profile to build the new DB. I know I recently scanned a cover where the existing was super-low res and high crap, and took a friendly jab at who's name was on it (since they usually provide good scans). They mentioned in their yes vote that it was old data just transfered to the new DB.
If you have a scanner this could use fixing. Those old BB tags are ugiler than most. |

| Posted: | | | | Rho i think nailed it, this is right when we had to re-contribute each profile from our local backups to the new invelos server... i suspect either this one got through skip's tight quality control, and in the frenzy to populate the database it was overlooked, or the image actually came from another contribution and the servers glitched... | | | -JoN |

| Posted: | | | | Skip is right here, as always. I am NOT Blockbuster, see my signature, nor do I work at one, though I did many years in the past. I very seldom buy anything at Blockbuster but on ocassions.

| Posted: | | | | Why don't you scan your cover and submit it? It's not part of my collection but everybody who has this title will gladly take a nice new scan without the sticker on it.

| Posted: | | | | It does seem odd, though, that Skip would get "credit" (Blame?) for the cover -- considering how much care he takes to get the perfect cover scan. I have my suspicions that the information you get when you "list contributors" is far from complete or accurate. I've seen profiles with changes made that no one lists in the notes -- so who did them? | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I totally agree with this ... and that is why I did not blame him (and I am not saying that you said I did) for the scan as I knew better. I wondered how that slipped by myself. The main reason I mentioned it is that I had another thread where I showed a couple of scans that were the same and people were wondering where I got them. . | | | Antec Nine Hundred case, 4GB A-Data DDR2 800 RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz, ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP MB, XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 video card, ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink, Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s HDD, Zerodba 620W PSU, LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD with LightScribe SATA, Samsung CDDVDW SH-S203B SATA, Hanns-G HH281 28" monitor, Kodak ESP3250 printer, Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers, Windows 7 Professional |

| Posted: | | | | I bought the Harry Potter films on HD-DVD last week and immediately added the existing profiles to my collection. I was looking for something else this morning, a week after the purchase, and suddenly noticed that the back image was the same as the front, and both were comparatively low-res. I only stumbled across this accidentally. I don't do a full inspection of each disc's profile upon adding it to the collection. Remember also that new additions to the DB (as was everything done in March 2007 i presume) don't show a before/after comparison because there isn't a before. So if you have a lot of profiles you might not notice the dreck that occasionally slips in. Stuff happens. bigdaddyhorse said all this more succinctly 8 days ago. ...let it die... we have more important issues like 1) does anyone have a phone number for the now available Robin Wright2) Will we have different font sizes in Overviews | | | Bad movie?
