| Posted: | | | | First.. I hate you for having this while mine is still on pre-order. Second.. I'd go with the "Tall" version and match the 500x700 standard for the other covers. | | | "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" - Douglas Bader "A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." - Douglas Adams |

| Posted: | | | | And I'd go with the "wide" to match the Man from U.N.C.L.E. case scan... | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | Trust me, I was lucky to get my hands on this one. I went to Best Buy here in Los Angeles, and was about to give up, and came across what was probably the last copy in the store. I was thinking about giving one of either the BD or HD-DVD to a friend for Christmas and couldn't located one for 50 miles. Ended up ordering it off Amazon with next day shipping. I ended up still getting it at a good price for a gift. I am leaning towards Tall myself. I've got them saved, just want to get a few more opinions. | | | Chris |

I think when mine comes in I will attack it with my Nikon. I think the pre-release fronts are the best answer for this oddball. Definitely scan the back though. I would have preferred an image like Blade Runner for The Man From UNCLE suitcase but Time-Life didn't provide a good shot like Warner did with Blade Runner.

| Posted: | | | | I'm keeping the 3D view of the case for my personal collection. The HD DVD version (085391-185710) had the regular 5-disc ultimate collector's edition (085391-185734) inside it. So it's in my collection as a box set. Personally, I think it makes little sense to scan these irregular non-typical cases for cover images. Photos reflect the nature of these cases much better IMO. | | | My Home Theater |

Was the HD set a combo or straight HD?

| Posted: | | | | I also think tall will be better, as we actually get larger images. (IMHO they should actually be "viewable fro the right" though...) | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | Well, 3 discs of HD heaven. The bonus features on disc 2 and disc 4 are on standard DVDs. But they're crammed to the gills with content (the disc 2 documentary runs over 3 and one-half hours, for instance). All five cuts of the movie are in HD though.

| Posted: | | | | I just got mine, the case is still cold from being in the UPS truck. This is for the plain old DVD version 085391-144847 which is the same UPC on the Digipak on the inside of this case. On the bottom is a sticker designating Limited Edition 033700 / 103000. The case has a clear sleeve with the art work, the black square on the front and everything on the back. Here is a scan I just made of the back. Not sure if it's good enough for contribution purposes, my scans are usually not nearly as good as what many of you can produce. I agree with others that the existing front scan in 3-d will be the image I keep there. | | | Kevin | | | Last edited: by antolod |
