| | Posted: | | | | I am getting more and more DVD's that has a descriptive audio track, meant for the visually impaired, it seems (the first one I got of these was Scary Movie 4 - I actually thought they meant it as a joke).
It doesn't really fit in as Commentary, so the ones I ahve so far are all entered as Other (not by me). Bottom line: We need a new audio "language" called "Descriptive" or something along those lines... | | | | The future is here. It's just not widely distributed yet. (William Gibson) |

At the moment having the track listed as 'Other' and adding 'Audio Description Track' to Other Features is inelegant.
I think the track should be listed as the language it is in with a tick box to indicate if it's AD. |

I think you mean "for the visually impaired." I doubt that descriptive audio would be of much use to someone who is hearing impaired.  | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole)
