| Posted: | | | | I was under the impression when I purchased this software that it was able to import data from "Movie Label 2008", which is a good movie biut some of the simplest, well known titles, are not complete orr wrong cover images, or not the correct tag lines or simple, well known titles don't show up.
How can I import data already created in Movielabel 2008? There is NO WAY I can go though inserting over 4500 DVDs into my computer drive. Step by step: How would Iuse a wireless hand scanner in order to leave the DVDs werre thet are but still sna them and out then in the pages?
I would appreciate a reply via private email
1Peter1makepeace1@comcast.net <Just take ALL of the "1" out and that is my reall emal address. > Please give a detailed descripotion of how to import the correct info.
I did try to enter a DVD into the drive and it Identified it as "Constantine Wide screen". BUT, in the main screen, top let corner, where it says "Filter", under General", why is it asking, in a blank entry, labeled "Title, then there is a place for a tick for "SubString Search", the "Other:", the a drop down box with "Overview,E.Eggs, notes:"? I was under the impression that this information was retrieved from the internet when inserted into the drive then looked up on the internet?
Thank you. PS If there is an easy way to do this, someone please gibe me step by step Please? Thank you | | | Accept me for who I am, right or wrong. But don't try to change me !! |

| Posted: | | | | I don't know where you got the idea about importing info, but there is no import function in Profiler. There is a plugin which, as a workaround, is able to create a database based on a text file list of UPC/EAN numbers. I think it's called the Import UPC Plugin, have a look in the Plugins forum, it should be there. And I don't know exactly what you were trying to do when you were putting Constantine in the drive, but the window it sounds you were looking at is a "Filters" window, where you can input criteria to filter your collection, including by title. As you weren't filtering anything then the title field would be blank. |
