help is needed again.
While scanning through my collection I realized that not all profiles where up to date. So I used the button "refresh all changed profiles" to my surprise some of the profiles in question did not appear on the list. I tried to download them by "refresh DVD" in the preview section the program showed the changes (they where not locked on my local DB) but I wasn't able to download them. Funily the download window appeared but no changes where made.
What am I doing wrong? Help me please.
EDIT: After scanning through my collection somewhat more, it seems that this "problem" only appears if "only" the names in cast and/or crew have changed. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| | Posted: | | | | Right. Some users are changing cast names from, for example, Joe DeBlow to Joe Deblow. Since they are spelled the same, only the capitalization of the "B" has changed, profiler still considers it an update. But after accepting the update it won't change in your local database. You would have to edit the cast name manually to change it. If you don't, that profile will always show as having an update available. | | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |
