IMDb list her as Joujou Turenne with 2 films. In the Credit Lookup Tool she is only found for La Peau blanche with different parsing: 3 times as Joujou / / Turenne 1 time as Jou Jou / / Turenne 3 times as Jou / Jou / Turenne On her Official Homepage her logo assumes JouJou Turenne but she writes herself in the content as Joujou Turenne. How should she be listet in DVD Profiler? mfg Speedy |

Skip Is it really that simple? If an official homepage indicates that an actress true name is different than as she is actually credited in her movies than we have much work with her 428 profiles  But for Miss Turenne some could argue that she is in the database only with 1 film and there is no need for choosing a common name, because we don't know if she choose this spelling with intent for instance to seperate her acting credits from her writing credits. And this would also speak against this poll about standardizing names without variants we had recently. mfg Speedy |

Based on the data you presented, you have a tie between two choices, and that tie is broken by your documentation. Now if there is more information that changes that evaluation, that might be different. But if SHE wrote (typed) her name who am I to argue with HER. It IS after all, her name, not mine. However, I have to remember that we have people who think they know more than the people who make the films so.... Maybe they will accuse her of a typo.  Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!
