How do we profile complete TV series?

Like this one --> The King of Queens: The Complete Series  UPC 0-43396 22452-0  (Not in Profiler Yet!)

It contains all nine seasons in one box, all seasons have individual packaging (no EAN/UPC)
The discs are the same as for the individual released seasons, already profiled.

I supose we have profiled boxses like this before, but I own none of the like..

May I add that it was impossible to go by this in the store today...    althou I have some seasons already..
It was to damn beatiful...

(Please dont wine and grin about this been discussed years back... I have taken a search and I didn't found anything about this...  Or at least add a link!)

with the latest version this is now more straightforward

You can now have a boxset for the whole collection and within that all the seasons (each as a boxset) and within each boxset the individual discs.

Where you have UPC use that, and where you don't use Disc ID.

Use the contribution rules to look at each season.

And just have minimal information on the complete box set profile. So if the big box has an overview use that. If not leave that blank.

Use common sense really.

Where did you buy it, and how much did it cost?    Been looking for this one here in the West, but haven't found it yet...

There are no UPC for the individual seasons, and as the discs are the same as the individuals I dont know how to solve this...

May it be Ok to just add the excisting individual profiles into the box?

If a disc ID is to be used, is it ok to use the first disc in each season?

Berak, I send you a PM sooooon..

You have to use the first disc id for the season profile and the first disc unfortunately has to be a manual profile.

This Mega set was contributed with the UPC and then each season was contributed with the first Disc ID of each season.

How do we do child profiles, there are three disc to the set Disc 2 & 3 are not problem by Disc ID but Disc 1 is assigned to the season.

At the minute unfortunately you'll have to use a manual profile for disc 1.

That find for my local but kind of makes a mess out of the online when you can only contribute Disc 2 & 3 of each of the seasons.

To be honest, I had exactly this example in mind when I started this topic.

I've got the same problem with my Babylon 5 super box.
