| Posted: | | | | I'm currently doing an audit of "Zombie Holocaust" (UPC: 631595020694) and have some difficulty deciding if the DVD title is correct, and if there should be and Original title entered also. The front cover says "Zombie Holocaust" (actually I discovered there are two covers; if you flip the cover you get a totally different title and artwork for the same movie, namely "Doctor Butcher M.D." ). The credit block on the back says ""Zombie Holocaust: Dr. Butcher M.D.". And finally the opening credits show the title as "Zombi Holocaust". The current profile has "Zombie Holocaust" as DVD Title and no Original Title. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance guys... | | | Berak

Thanks in advance guys... Well, according to the revised rules: DVD Title from DVD Cover "Zombie Holocaust" Original Title, first from Credit Block or if no title in credit block, from film's credits. So Original title would be "Zombie Holocaust: Dr. Butcher M.D." from the credit block. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | Zombie Holocaust is the original title and the DVD title. Dr. Butcher is just the title of the recut movie for the United States. This is not the version on the DVD, just listen to the extra on the DVD. The different cover is just an extra ... |

But the credit block on the back of the "Zombie Holocaust" cover says "Zombie Holocaust: Dr. Butcher M.D.", so it should warrant an entry in the Original title field, no? | | | Berak

| Posted: | | | | I believe AESP_pres is right. I just took a gander at the current profile and the rear cover states that one of the special features are scenes from "Tales that'll Tear Your Heart Out" which were in the Uncut U.S. Theatrical Release entitled "Dr. Butcher M.D.". | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | It seems that the credit block are wrong, since the title is "Zombie Holocaust". The movie was made to cash in the popularity of 2 movies : Cannibal Holocaust and Zombie 2 Wikipedia This kind of multi-title is something usual for the Italian horror movie. The movie title is list as "Zombie holocaust" too on the producer Wikipedia page and all the title are the original one since they are a lot of Italian one. Fabrizio De Angelis produce movieAnd finally a list of the movie directed by Marino Girolami where the movie is also listed as "Zombie holocaust" and all the movie had their original title Marino Girolami movieAnd finally a google traduction of the movie entry on mymovies.it : "(...) In Italy, the film is now almost forgotten, but the United States still has a fair number of estimatori.Distribuito also with the alternative title Queen of cannibals, is known abroad with the titles: Doctor Butcher M.D.; Dr. Butcher, Medical Deviate; Island of the Last Zombies; Medical Deviate; Queen of the Cannibals; Zombie 3." Hopes that helps to clear this title issue Berak. | | | Last edited: by Jimmy S |

| Posted: | | | | You're right Kevin. This is just a "repeat" typo from myself, my brain say that a "e" should be at the end maybe if I disconect it I will write the title corectly. |
