| Posted: | | | | Hi, this is my first post, I'm from Mexico.
I've always contributed TV Series with no problem, however recently when I contributed some X-Files seasons, they were Declined because:
The contributed profile includes information not applicable to box set parents. Please see the contribution rules for details on proper handling for box sets.
So I checked the rules, and they say that for TV Series it was fine to put cast and crew information, so I re-submitted, adding in the notes that: This is a TV Series, not a Box Set, it can include cast and crew information, per the rules. Then they got approved and released.
However today I got rejected my contribution for the third season of Lost, that has already been released here, with the same reason:
The contributed profile includes information not applicable to box set parents. Please see the contribution rules for details on proper handling for box sets.
So I re-submitted with the same notes: This is a TV Series, not a Box Set, it can include cast and crew information, per the rules, but this time got Declined with no reason.
What exactly I'm doing wrong?, because in the rules it clearly states that for TV Series you can put up information, that you can't when we're dealing with Box Sets.
Thanks for your help. | | | Last edited: by hdiaz26 |

| Posted: | | | | It's not your fault, this has happened a bit lately. The screeners have a lot going by them, sometimes this stuff just goes through. You were right the first time, resubmit with a quick note that this is a TV set and you should be golden the next time. |

| Posted: | | | | I had the same problem recently, see here. As I said in this thread, there seems to be something awfully wrong with the Invelos screening at the moment. Rejecting a TV series profile with such a specific reason is not something that simply "happens", especially not several times. The best thing you can do is to write a PM to Gerri Cole. | | | Michael |

Maybe the "specific reason" for rejection is just a button very close to another button for approval, so it's not so "specific" after all! Quote: The best thing you can do is to write a PM to Gerri Cole. It usually works, AFAIK. | | | -- Enry |
