Well, we have been asked for our favourite 3 or more dvd's to take along.

I'm not this generous

If you have to decide to take along only 1 (one!) single film on DVD (must be in your collection), what is your choice?

My choice would be Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket!

What about you out there?

1 single DVD? Now that is torture!

I suppose that I'd go with The Empire Strikes Back

That is such a hard question.  Moods change of course ( especially on a desert island for an extended period of time) and so I suppose we'd be choosing something we wouldn't mind watching over and over and over...Maybe something a little uplifing.

I liked FunkyLA's selection of the  Princess Bride - that combines humour, romance and adventure.  I'm torn between North by Northwest, the Sound of Music, Harvey or perhaps Meet Joe Black.
OK I'll jump for the Sound of Music!

i personally think we should launch a class action suit against this travel agent!
Anyway, not sure if this counts the complete Heimat collection.
That's the thing about racism, though, most of it is covert.

Single DVD??? Hmmmmm? This is incredibly difficult!
I would have to go with "All of Me", or wait, "Centre Stage", or oh Hell, I can't do this to myself. The torture. I guess I am never travelling again!!!!

Since I can't bring the LOTR-trilogy      I would have to go with;

Monty Python and the Holy Grail....

That way I can laugh myself to death and shorten the suffering of being without my precious DVD's

I was debating between LOTR trilogy (extended version of course) or The Mel Brooks Collection. But a single DVD?!?  Nope, can't do it. Won't do it.

I'd take the DVD "How to Get Off of the Desert Island You Have Become Stranded On for Dummies"  That way I would have full proof way off of the island so I could sue the airline and beat my travel agent to within an inch of his lfe.
