I may have missed it, but I am unable to see how Purchase place can be set as a filter under the personal tab. It can be accessed for report headings, but it would be nice to be able to produce a filtered report ONLY showing items from a particular purchase place.

I use tags.
Tag: Retailers
Child tags for the different retailers.

Just how many places around the world do you think the users of this program buy their dvds.
I could buy DVDs at most grocery stores as well as Frys, Circuit City, Walmart, etc., to mention rretailers on the internet.

If I buy locally, I only entert the country in DVD Profiler. So far I have purchased DVDs in Germany, USA, Taiwan and Hong Kong. If I would actually enter different retailers, I'd have a long list... I also order from several different online retailers...

I also would like to have a purchase location filter; then again, I have one with my phpdvdprofiler and I can say, that I have used it repeatedly.

Well if you ask me - its probably 6 or 7 online retailers and 5 non internet retailers.

A grocery store (or as we call them in the UK - a supermarket) don't have a wide selection of dvds so I could probably count on one hand the number of supermarket purchases I've made and that would be 1 supermarket.

The superstores near me have huge selection of DVDs Paul, especially Asda and Tesco's. And buying 'offshore' with free delivery can save a fair bit of dosh

I don't have ANY superstores near me. It comes from living in a backwater like Croydon (aka Murder capital of the South).

I buy most of my dvds offshore - Its only if there are special offers 'in store' that I would dirty my hands with credit card and buy from them. (virginsuperstore / HMV / Smiths) + 2 small stores long out of business.

Online =play / amazon /dvd pacific / dvd soon (b4 they ran off with money) / cd-wow / 101 / choices direct / dvd co.uk / sendit / ezydvd

I by mine all over the place and a filter by purchase place would be useful. I spent ages trying to work out RRP currency mismatches, which would be easier if you could filter by purchase place, as the RRP of a title from say amazon.com is probably USD where amazon.co.uk would be GBP.

Anyway, phpdvdprofiler users can filter it (cos I added it ages ago) and you've also got this (if you're sad like me) :-
