| Posted: | | | | I'm finishing up a complete episode by episode cast / crew update of the four disc collector's edition and I'm not quite sure how to credit Tom Hank's introduction appearances for episodes 1-11. The existing, scarily IMDB-like, profile lists him as Host/Narrator/Jean-Luc Despont. The Jean-Luc Despont character credit is taken care of in episode 12. Is it Narrator? He doesn't do narration during the episodes, just the episode introductions. Guy who does the Introductions? Thanks to anyone who offers a solution. |

The answer is very simple...How is he credited in the show credits, yes that means you have to look at them to determine the answer. I don't recall excatly how he is credited but my memory is that he is part fo the cast.

Skip Skipnet50: In a perfect world you're 100% correct, just check the credits. Unfortunately, this isn't a perfect world. He is not credited in any episodes for his little introductions. His only cast credit is for his appearance as Jean-Luc Despot in Episode 12, the rest are crew credits. |

| Posted: | | | | You could conceivably list him in a separate (uncredited) listing, I think Host would be more appropriate than narrator, because if my memory of the show is accurate that is the the role he filled, I don't recall any voice over during the show. He would be very easy to document.

Skip Thanks It was definitely going to be an uncredited all along, I suppose I should have made that more clear. It was just a question of Narrator (uncredited), Host (uncredited), or something someone else suggested (uncredited). I think Host (uncredited) with an explanation in the contribution is how I'll go. Thanks for your help |
