| Posted: | | | | Hello,
My name is Sergio Perez and I am new to this forum. I'm very interested in purchasing DVD Profiler unlimited (latest version). I have an extensive DVD collection (1173 titles) and since 1999 I've been using DVD Tracker to catalog my DVDs. DVD Tracker will shut down at the end of the year and for that reason I need a new online program to track my collection. I was wondering if it is possible to import my existing titles into DVD Profiler? I would appreciate any help from the forum members.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,

| Posted: | | | | DVD Profiler tracks entries primarily by UPC, since title isn't generally very unique. As far as I know, DVD Tracker doesn't track UPC, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. Without the UPC, any title-matching based import wouldn't be very accurate unfortunately.
The fastest way to enter DVDs into DVD Profiler is with a barcode scanner. You can pick up a CueCat on eBay for about $5-$10, and they work pretty well with DVD Profiler. They're also useful for selecting titles later (for loaning, marking watched, etc). | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

Thank you for your fast response. I know it will take some time to insert (scan) all my titles in the database but at the end it will be worth it.
