Hi all, well I must say this is an awsome way to look up my movies.

my one concern is I have three boxes to hold all my movies, each box holds 150 movies and the slevees inside start at 1 and go 150, so how can i add the second and third box and start from 1 again, other than having 3 databases, i would like to be able to see all my movies in one list.

any ideas out there or is this a glitch?

Thanks

You can give a DVD any collection number you like, you can give every DVD the collection number 1 if you like.

But if you have three boxes why don't you use the number 1001-1150, 2001-2150 and 3001-3150?

Another method would be to use the Location/Slot fields found under Personalization. You can call the Location Box 1, Box 2, etc and the Slot would be the sleeve number.

this is how i would do this...

to give another suggestion, you can also create tags for "box 1" etc... and then tag the profiles in this manner... while the location/slot is truly designed for this, you can not filter by this data, so there would be no way to pull up a list of all dvds in a particular box, i would suggest filling in the location/slot (for data integrity and reports) and create tags, so you can quickly filter the contents of any given box.
