| Posted: | | | | I was going through the CSI DVD sets and each one is different in the studios. What is the correct listing, anyone know?
Some say:
Jerry Bruckheimer Television CBS Productions Paramount Home Entertainment
Others: CBS Productions Jerry Bruckheimer Television Paramount Home Entertainment
And still: CBS Productions Alliance Atlantis Jerry Bruckheimer Television
And variations on all of those. So, what's the correct listing? I'm willing to change the one's I have (Miami: S3, NY: S1, CSI: S1-6).
I'd think it would be:
CBS - They distribute the show on TV CBS Productions - They produce the show Paramount Home Entertainment - They distribute it on DVD. Though I guess Jerry Bruckheimer Television could go here since it also is a production company on the series.
Oh, and the same for Deadwood Seasons 1-3. Here are the variations:
Season 1: HBO Home Video, Rysher Entertainment
Season 2: Home Box Office, Rysher Entertainment, HBO Video
Season 3: Warner Home Video | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |

| Posted: | | | | I find with most major network shows, the end credit logos usually take up all three slots; most often the last one is the distribution, so should go first, then the production companies in the order they come. I'm not familiar with CSI myself, but based on what I can see here, I'd say CBS Productions (distro) > Jerry Bruckheimer Television (prodution) > Paramount Home Entertainment (home release). Assuming there isn't another production company at the end of the credits. Not familiar with Deadwood either. I just did Rome though, and a few other HBO series in the past; they all say "Home Box Office" with the other end logos, so that would be your first. After that you're on your own. |
