| Posted: | | | | Hi, I have a problem which is quite irritating. In my personal list I can see all my movies, including images etc, but when I try the same in my online list, some DVD's just don't show and instead I get an error like this
" Please select your browser's Refresh option to continue viewing this collection. "
What can I do about this?
My list is http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/apophis_ and an example of a DVD that won't show is Flag of Our Soldiers. The weird thing is that sometimes other movies won't show, while others can be seen again... | | | Last edited: by apophis_ |

| Posted: | | | | Works fine for me in seamonkey 1.1.4.
Try clearing your cache, using a different browser etc... etc... | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | I can see your collection including Flag of Our Soldiers as well, using Opera as browser.
Is it possible that some Firefox plugin or extension is causing your problem? |

| Posted: | | | | Did you try to start FF in safe-mode? Try to clear the cache before. No problems with FF 2.0.0.6 here (including many add-ons)! | | | Thorsten |

| Posted: | | | | Please select your browser's Refresh option to continue viewing this collection I have got this message in the past at times, on both browsers. I don't think it's the brower but the interface connection getting out of sync.. Possible cause your browser can not get space fast enough or connection gets over loladed. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it. | Posted: | | | | I've seen this sometimes too. I suspect it to be cookie related (ASP.NET_SessionId), the session expires then you are unable to browse further in the collection. The time interval seems to be fairly short, though I haven't measured... seemed to be something like >30 min idle as when I'm continuously perusing this issue doesn't seem to appear. Dunno why, possibly to prevent offsite deep linking to profiles/images. Or just a periodic server bug. Once the session expires you must refresh the top level of a collection to reset the cookie before continuing (tip: SHIFT + Refresh forces reload & resets the cache and cookies for that page.) |
