Bit confusuing header, but what I mean is this:
I checked my Database at 12 noon and found three entries and voted accordingly.., I take a little nap, and find out 4 hours later that Skipnet has submitted a new title for voting on.
( StarTrek The Motion Picture), and it already has 40 !! votes . Yes 40 . I mean it takes me up to three days to get 38,, and on a really hot title such as Blade Runner (78),, it still takes over 2 days..
How in the *@*!  did 40 hits happen in 4 hours ??

Does Ken hold back a part of this base for differnat quadrants of the servers... ???
In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

That is a lot, especially for ST:TMP!  I'm shocked.  I didn't know that many people owned that movie.

I mean, i have everything else TOS (except ST V of course) but TMP is a snooze fest!

I've racked up 72 votes for Fellowship of the Ring in 27 hours but 40 in 4 hours is good.  Maybe a slow football weekend?
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

Stephanie Daley: Got zero votes for studios, crew and cast. The movie gets 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and that's the cream of the crop. I've known better days as Arizona

I think the number of votes you get is always a bit unpredictable. I've also had submissions that I thought no one would own and get multiple votes in a few hours. Conversely, did submissions for titles that I thought would be popular and hardly got any votes.
40 is quite a lot, but then again the US is a lot bigger than the Netherlands.

Up to 52 votes now!

The system doesn't really allow for spam votes and it really doesn't make sense to spam vote in order to get your contribution out.  It's not like your contribution count actually means anything.
