I know that mass-editing is generally frowned upon because it can have serious negative implications for the DVD profile database - one bad move can render many users' DVD profiles incorrect.

However...
It would be nice to be able to mass-edit the "Personal Information" section of a DVD profile.  This section is not contributed when a DVD profile is updated and so an incorrect mass-edit could only have implications for the personal user and not the database as a whole. 

Being able to mass-edit this section holds many possibilities: adding the same notes to several DVDs at once, only having to make one change to add the same Purchase Place to the 6 new DVDs you just bought, use flags to identify and then quickly review movies that are deserving of the same ranking, etc.

Using this option, like any "flagged" mass-edit option, would still be at the user's discretion and would have no consequences for the online database.  Please consider it.  Thank you.

This would be awesome. Say I wanted to put the same link in the notes section fo rall the child profiles for one series, it would be great to do it in one fell swoop.

Good idea, I would definitely use this - particularly for my wishlist priorities.
