| Posted: | | | | Does anybody know of some birth years for the various David Lee's? I have found no less than five David Lee's in my database:
- David Lee, one of the creators/writers/producers of 'Frasier' - David Lee, art director on films like 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' and 'Lost in Space' - David Lee, Oscar-winning sound mixer on films like 'Chicago' and 'X-Men' (birth year: 1938) - David Lee, sound mixer on films like 'The Matrix', 'Muriel's Wedding' - David Lee, British composer, for instance on 'Adam Adamant Lives!' (birth year: 1926)
As of yet, we've only managed to find birth years for two of these. That still leaves the other three David Lee's without a contributable birth year. Can anyone help? | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | Bump! Nobody can help? I imagine I'm not the only one having this problem - maybe most of you don't have all four of them, but I expect quite a number of users to have at least two in their database. I'd really like to separate their credits... |

Art Director The Matrix ... Sound X-Men ... Prodution Sound Mixer So I need 3 BY's too. | | | Martin Zuidervliet

| Posted: | | | | I found the (temporary?) solution for the problem in this post. We can just separate the David Lees by using birth year "99xx", where "xx" is the roman number of IMDb translated to a decimal number. For example: David Lee (9903) ... X-Men David Lee (9917) ... The Matrix I don't think we are allowed to use this system for the online database, but at least we can use this to separate them in our local ones. | | | Martin Zuidervliet

Wow, that will become complicated once both have been separately established their respective BY. When adding David Lee to the crew, who to choose | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. | Posted: | | | | Seeing how on IMDB the Roman numerals for this name currently go up to LXI, we could be in trouble! |

| Posted: | | | | Given that David is a common given name and Lee is a very common Asian surname as well as western surname, problems like this are bound to happen. If we can't use Roman numerals (because of IMBD), why can't we use letters (a,b,c) rather than birth years. | | | My Home Theater |
