| Posted: | | | | Hi,
I just heard of DVD Profiler, and I was wondering some things.
I currently use Movie Collector from collectorz.com, but I'm not satisfy with it. I want to upload my movie database online, and that I can search trough my database from anywhere. My current program only let's me export one long list.
Then I heard that this program let's you do that. So I was wondering, what are the features of html export? And is there a way that I can tranfer my current database to DVD profiler? Since I have 1000+ movies, it takes a long time if I had to re enter everything.
(Sorry if it's in the wrong place on the forum. Since these are more technical questions, I thought this was the best place to ask my questions.)
Thanx in advance. |

Also DVDP supports an upload to the Invelos server. It looks like this. For importing a foreign database, there are two ways: You can use a barcode scanner (like CueCat). The other way would be that you need to export the UPCs/EANs from your previous program. Then you can import this list with another 3rd party program (I forgot the name - help anyone?) to import it into DVDP. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | The UPCs program does not work with Version 3 of DVDProfiler. I was going to update it, but someone wrote a plugin to do it much better than my hack. | | | -fred |

Which plugin is that? I recall reading abut it, but don't remember where. It's cleverly hidden in the Plugin forum. Not quite as safe as hiding it in a readme, but still it should be quite ok. | | | Regards Lars | | | Last edited: by lmoelleb |
