| Posted: | | | | I just did the upgrade from 2.4 to 3.0 and everything seemed to go fine. But when I went to add a movie to the collection after I loaded my backup it says...
Online Profile List Required Do You Want To Download?
I click yes, a windows pops up for a fraction of a second and nothing happens. If I click on the Add to Collection button again it repeats the same process.
Any suggestions? |

| Posted: | | | | Have you tried to download the profile list manually, via menu Online -> Refresh all ? | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | It could be my hardware firewall. Is it using FTP or HTTP to grab the files? |

| Posted: | | | | Well I found the problem. One of the files that DVDProfiler downloads kicked off an anti-virus alert on my Firewall. I'll assume for the moment that what DVDProfiler is downloading does not contain a virus. I'm to tired to dig into it right now but tomorrow I'll check my firewall logs and see what file it was and what exact anti-virus rule it violated (maybe file extension?).
Thanks for the help everyone. |
