| Posted: | | | | I guess the title says it all (I left out that I'm probably deaf, dumb and blind).
Because I was born in one country, lived in two others and generally shop around the globe, I have DVDs with (mostly) English titles, German titles, Danish titles ... you name the language and I've probably got a DVD from that country.
In my DVD profiler on my PC I display the English title and sort by it, but when I upload, the original titles are displayed (although sorting by English title works perfectly).
So, is there a way of getting the English title to be displayed in the left DVD list online?
Any help appreciated.
P.S.: I did some searching here but so far I haven't found an answer yet. Have I mentioned that I suck at searching as well? ,) |

Go to "Tools" - "Options" - "Display" - "Title Format" Once there you can choose one of three options. You might have "Original Title" checked - change that and hopefully your problem will be solved. But then I'm not very computer savvy - talk about the blind leading the blind! |

| Posted: | | | | Well, I tried all three options and the result is the same. I need to go through my collection and get a more thorough understanding of how DVD profiler works, I guess. Maybe I also need to enter different stuff in any one of those title fields. Time to experiment. I forgot to mention that I'm also lazy. Thanks for your help. | | | Last edited: by deus62 |

| Posted: | | | | As far as I understand now (hey, I'm quick) it only uploads the DVD title. If I'm correct, I would need to enter the original title there, which, of course, I don't want to do because the DVD title should be, well the title on the cover. That's why we have the original title field.
So, is there an option elsewhere? |

| Posted: | | | | I simple put the English title in the title field and lock it (and obviously never contribute it). Only exception are movies without English subtitles or audiotrack - where I simply leave it in the original language. | | | Regards Lars |
