I've never flagged any tite or set tags before. I have dvd's that have several movies contained on 1 disc most of these are called "Double Feature" and when i search for a movie in DVd Profiler it doesn't find any of the movies that are included in the "Double Feature" or "Tripple Feature". It will only recognize the movie title listed 1st and the 2nd and 3rd movie titles in a tripple feature are just ignored. A good example of this is movie title #1038 from my collection. In DVD Profiler this title is listed as :

Honkytonk Man / Pink Cadillac / City Heat

If i do a search for "Pink Cadilac" it will not find it and so i think i don't own it and sometime i have ended up buying a movie i already own. The only search i can do on this title is a search for "Honkytonk man" anything else will yeild no results. I want to be able to search these muti movie dvd bundles for these titles.

any ideas ?

This title is in the online database as a box set. Download the individual movies by discid (or title , selecting the version with matching discid or cover scan) and add them to the boxset.

Ahh, that worked nicely. I know you went to alot of work wit your reply greyghost and i appriciate it. I would have to go through all my movies and do the same for all my set like this one and that doesn't appear at the moment to be necessary as Sanuye's post worked well. I never notice that check box there before and if i had i wouldn't have known what it was for.

Now that , that's working could anyone tell me how tags work. I created several tags and selected personalize on specific titles and have selected one of the 3 tags and was wondering how you get the program to filter the titles you have set tags for.

From DVDoug's site :

Open the Filter-section and select the "Tags" tab. Now you can filter for three conditions:

  • Ignore the tag (greyed out or transparent check mark).

  • The Tag must be set (check mark).

  • The Tag must not be set (no check mark).
