Since I haven't found it yet, I think I should make it a feature request.

You can sort the collection by disc location, but you can't filter by it.
I would find it quite useful, if I could just filter all DVDs e.g. in a certain shelf, and check how many and which are stored there.

There is a sort of workaround you can use.
You can sort your database, then use either filter above this point, or filter below this point.
