| Posted: | | | | The other day I added a few DVD's to my database. One gave an error message: Will & Grace - Seizoen 6 ; 5050582501520 It was recognized in the "add by UPC box" but when I clicked "Add now" all dvd's where accepted but this one. Today I tried again and I received the same error: Unable to Download file, Continue anyway?
I can't add this DVD to my collection but also can't create a new profile for this DVD.
What do you advice? |

| Posted: | | | | When you say that you can't create a new profile is it because the program tells you that it's already in your collection?
Have you checked your wishlist and ordered tabs to see if maybe it was placed there in error? | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | Yup...looks like the profile in the database is corrupted. Check your pending additions. It still might be stuck there...that might be why you can't add it manually. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | I've noticed that this sometimes happens when Invelos delete a suspect profile from the online database. As the UPC is still held in the local list of DVDs, it appears as a valid profile, but when you try to download it, it no longer exists so you get a download error. As far as I'm aware, the only way to fix it is to get someone to resubmit the profile from their local database. I've just actually noticed that the release date on the profile is 01-01-0001 - maybe that's causing the problem! According to bol.com, the UPC is valid - the boxset was released 17 July. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

| Posted: | | | | Update: I added the UPC manually and tried to contribute - it's treating it like a new submission. I won't submit in case it's easier for Ken to fix the online one rather than me possibly delete good info. |

| Posted: | | | | Interesting, I went ahead and submitted it as a new profile (impetuous I know!), and although it treated it as a new profile, when I look at the contribution notes, it mentions that the original profile was accepted on 1st August, submitted by MasOfDis. So it looks like something has gone wrong with the profile. I put a link to this thread in the notes so Ken & Gerri can read up on it. |

| Posted: | | | | Just a quick update: my new profile submission has been approved and released, so the UPC should work again now, but the profile is mostly empty. |
