| Posted: | | | | I bet someone moved the slipcover from an 'unreated' copy to a 'rated' copy. If you check your sales invoice, I bet it will be listed as the 'rated' version.
By the way my UPC is 024543-450320, did you switch the 230 to 320?
Take it back and ask for a new one!

| Posted: | | | | did you ever resolve this? i bought the slipcased unrated version at best buy and had the same thing: the shrink wrap had a different upc code sticker than the back cover art, which also has an R rating logo on it. However, the disc itself is emblazened with unrated and runs the full 107 mins quoted on the slipcase and not 99 mins as quoted on the slick. looks like fox got lazy and just used the same slicks for both versions. that is all... krik | | | "Vampirism is still not a disease, Julia. | Posted: | | | | This happened to me when I bought the movie at Target a few weeks ago. I think Target was charging slightly more for the Unrated version so I'm assuming someone must have thought they could fool them by putting the regular slipcase over the Unrated keepcase and get the Unrated version cheaper. What this person was apparently too stupid to realize is that there's a reason the slipcases have the hole cut out so the UPC on the keepcase is what gets scanned. So they still ended up paying for the Unrated version and they got stuck with the Rated version's slipcase. Anyway, I was just the unlucky guy who picked up the one they switched so I ended up with the Rated version in the Unrated version's slipcase. I just took it back and they exchanged it for me. What threw me before I realized what had happened is that the slipcase listed a whole bunch of Special Features and when I popped in the disc none of them were on there. I was scratching my head thinking I had gotten a bad disc until I figured out I had the Rated version. | | | "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" - Douglas Bader "A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." - Douglas Adams |
