O.k., this is a new one to me and I can't find anything clear about it in the rules.
I just tried to fill the prfile for Driller Killer: Collector's Edition  UPC  063390-010042
As I stated in my notes, there are almost no credits and I think they got cut from the print Cult Epics used. Big crew info like writer, producer, dp, editor are not on the movie itself but are on the front cover.
Is it O.K. to add them from the cover (they match imdb and wikipedia, which are the only links I could find but dare not use) in a case like this? I held off on submitting them but will put them on my local for now.

Thanks.

Hmm, interesting and very rare case.

If there are really no film credits, then I'd use the cover data - not only locally but also for the online database.

Why don't you double check one of the other Driller Killer UPC's that have submitted and accepted cast and crew lists.

Perhaps those versions had full credits

If crew are not credited, they are not to be entered.

Only uncredited cast may be entered per the Rules.

Could the info on the cover go as "credited crew"? or will the rule: 'Take Crew Credits from the film credits only' disalow this?
For cast it is more "round".. 'If a film has no end credits, but does have actors credited elsewhere, enter the actors from those credits' (dont se that 'uncredited' sould be used for theese)

Was it ment to be that square or is it a fault?

I have to agree with Hal on this one... the rules are very straight forward... they do say...

Quote:
Take Crew Credits from the film credits only; list names exactly as they are in the credits. Exception: If the credit information is entirely capitalized, use standard capitalization rules instead.

and says...
Quote:
Do not contribute uncredited crew members, as they can not be identified with (uncredited) as they are in the cast section. If you wish to see these uncredited crew members in your local database you can do so, but do not include them in contributions to the main database.

I just don't see any give on these rules.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

If I cared more about this film I'd check the other versions, but figure time is better spent filling in other profiles I can definitly do right.

Like I said, I'm not sure if this a case where the credits never were there or if this disc is just missing some of them. It's odd that it has a page for sound (it's so low budget, the credits don't scrool but have pages) but not the more important things like writer. It does have the cast which was 99% correct on the existing profile.
I didn't add the crew outside the sound because the rules said get them from the disc, but figured I'd throw this out for disscussion in case it happens on anything else in the future.

I'm also curious to see if anyone else even has this disc. If not then let this thread be a warning to get any other version if you have to have this movie.
