| Posted: | | | | Quick question: if the front cover of a TV-DVD says: "Series 1", but the spine says: "The Complete First Series" - which one do we use in the title field? Can we get any consensus on that, or does the first contributor simply get to choose, and should we leave it alone after that? | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | There is also something to be said for also keeping this consistent with other items in the series (not in your example which is the first)...
I guess the usual response to look at the contents of the DVD does not help in the case of a TV series. | | | Hans |

| Posted: | | | | For TV Series it is already in the rules to use the Front Cover for the title... From TV Series Rules: Quote: The title for a Box Set should be the title listed on the Front Cover; for example The Andy Griffith Show. Season indicators, if listed on the cover, should be entered as part of the title, not the description. e.g. Angel: The Complete First Season. So as I said... it is already covered in the case of TV Series... and I personally see no reason of changing it now. | | | Pete |
