How can I transfer all my movies information from the old 2.4 version of DVD Proflier to the new 3.0 without having to re-enther all those bar codes?

Please help,
Mark

Just make a backup in 2.4 and then restore in 3.0.  There might be one or two that don't cross over, from what I've heard, b/c of UPC codes being entered differently in 3.0 but all of mine were fine when I did it...

Yeah, as Lori says, there may be a few that the new Profiler can't work the UPC code out for.
Just manually edit the UPC to include all the numbers (we don't knock the end ones off anymore) and it should be able to find the new profile.

If you don't already have version 2.4 or 2.5 installed, download and install it from www.intervocative.com, and version 3 from www.invelos.com.
Next, if you don't already have your collection in your local copy of 2.4/2.5, use the My Profiler feature in that version to download your collection from InterVocative.

From version 2.4/2.5, select File->Backup Profile Database. You can select a location on your local hard drive.
From version 3, select File->Restore Profile Database. Select the file you selected in the back up step above .
