| Posted: | | | | Is there a way to add a future release to the database.
For example I want to put Kennether Branagh's Hamlet on my wishlist (out in August) but it is not featured on the future releases.
Any help? |

| Posted: | | | | It's already in the database under UPC 053939268324.
Just add it to your Wishlist using the UPC. | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | What region are you in? I know for a fact it's already in the database for Region 1. It was submitted back in May.
Just open the program, click on Add DVD to Collection. When the pop up screen comes up to add a dvd, choose the Upcoming Releases tab. Then change the Release Date to 8/12/2007 - 8/18/2007 and scroll down until you see it. |

| Posted: | | | | You can add by UPC if you know the UPC. Many online stores show them in their listing. Alternatively you could search by title.
What region DVD are you looking for, and we should be able to point you in the direction of some sites.
As it is pre-release there is less chance it will be in the database, so you may have to create the profile yourself. | | | Andy

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for you for your help Kevin and Hal, but I was foolish to exclude that I was after the Region 2. |

I am not aware that it has been announced for R2 as yet. Not seeing it anywhere for UK as yet. | | | Andy

| Posted: | | | | If you could find a UPC for the R2 release, you could download the R1 version and change the UPC, Region and locality. You may have to make other changes when you actually get it in your hands, but at least you'd have it in your Wishlist in the meantime. | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting Kozinski: Quote: Thanks for you for your help Kevin and Hal, but I was foolish to exclude that I was after the Region 2. The usual plan would be to download the R1, change the region, locality and UPC, check everything else is correct (like it'll be PAL not NTSC and may have some different features etc) then contribute it not forgetting a contribution note about it being sourced fro retailer data and the R1 version. However the EAN for the R2 isn't yet available (well I can't find it) so the alternative is just to create it as a manual local profile (nick the cast and crew from the US one so long as they aren't scraped from the IMDb) then contribute when the EAN is available. BTW, are you sure it's August? Play are still showing it as 'Coming Soon' and they're usually pretty quick off the mark. Edit: Bit slow typing there! Lots of posts sneaked in! Still not convinced on August though given nobody advertising it yet... | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong | | | Last edited: by Voltaire53 |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks Also found it at DVDTimes who I really trust for info, but cannot find it on any retail site with a date - and more are not listing it at all. Also the coverart misses the certificate on the front, which it has to have. All seems a bit weird to me. | | | Andy

It looks to me that DVDTimes is using the Region 1 Cover Art FOR NOW.
