If you contribute and it pops up your browser to enter the contribution notes, I've noticed that if you just close the window, it leaves the contribution in an unknown state. Instead of saying 'received' it says nothing. If you click cancel it cancels it correctly.

With lots of people just ensuring for now that profiles get to the database, I for one am just closing my window if the profile already exists.

Version 2.5 didn't do this. You could just close the window.

Yep. For me, if I hit cancel (which is only right at the bottom of the page, hence why I'm just closing the window as its quicker), the contribution isn't showing up in my profiler->contributions.
