| Posted: | | | | I have just started using DVD Profiler today, entering about 350 DVDs (no duplicates). When I went to run a report to print a list of everything I noticed that several artwork images were blank. Going back to my collection list "owned" I saw duplicate and triplicate entries - NOT ENTERED BY ME!!! When selecting the duplicate (or triplicate entry) the artwork and description displayed is the first title in the list (depending on how the list is sorted). Is anyone else experiencing this? If so how were you able to fix?? As well, it's not letting me delete the duplicates - instead it will delete the first DVD on the list. Then when I go to delete the next duplicate it would actually delete the second (now first entry) on my list. HELP! TOTALLY UNIMPRESSED! |

| Posted: | | | | I've not had this problem, but have you tried the Repair database option, yet? Backup, of course, but go to tools, options, utilities, repair DVD profiler database.

| Posted: | | | | i always get random memory errors and have seen many others post the issue. It seems to always get sluffed off as system memory issue, which its not, i have posted what i have done to cause it a few times with no futher ideas. Your reply to this posting has been the most reasonable response on why a memory issue could be happening (i run Photoshop with 50MB image, and ArcMap with several MB maps... it tests my system as much as dvd profiler.)
btw, the 'last' occurance of memory issues has been switching tags as filters off/on. Although my memory issues started with something similar to this thread, and i did get a memory crash with two of same upc downloaded.
After repair DVD profiler database ran, the memory issue happened first time, all the time as usual. Just clicking on Filter by Tags. Why? | | | Last edited: by roflmao |

| Posted: | | | | This is not an error I've ever seen come up either - are you able to do screen grabs so we can see what's happening? |

| Posted: | | | | I didn't know there was a "repair database". I've done as Lori suggests and it seems to have worked. THANKS SO MUCH!!! I'd like to attach a screenshot to show what was going on but can't figure out how. Instead I've set up the image as my avatar. Not sure if it can be enlarged to see the detail. If someone could let me know how I can attach a file I'd appreciate it. |
