| | Posted: | | | | To elaborate a little on Skip's response: there is no algorithmic association between a UPC code and a DiscID.
DiscID's are an identifier created from the "structure" of the DVD, and there can be a large number of different ones for a given "movie" (different pressings appear to be able to create different DiscIDs).
UPC's are assigned by the distributor according to some policy of the distributor. | | | | -fred |
