When I set flags in DVDP and then shut down program and go back into later the flags are gone. Is this a bug or a setting?

If you have to ask, it's always a feature...

No, seriously, it's the way flags work... For permanent storage of a "set of DVDs" you should use Tags.

Or: Collection => Flags => Save Set

So what is the purpose of having flagged DVD window pop-up when DVDP starts if it is going to be empty everytime? Unless the saved set of flags is what appears in the window. I'll have to check this out.

Thanks

Flags are intended to be temporary, if you want permamnent then use the tag system.

I gathered that after Ya-Shins post Skip. The question was if flags disappear when the program closes then what is the point of the pop up option when DVDP starts to show flagged DVD's.

Hmmm, that is a good point...

You are referring to the Collection|View Flagged window, which indeed has a check box for "Show at Program Startup".

Only guess is, that some people may want to include it in their layout as a permanent window, e.g. "next to the "Collection List", even if it's empty at program startup... It is then just easier to access...
