| Posted: | | | | I had 4 profiles in my "Ordered" list and today I received 3. For the first two, I right-clicked them and from the context menu I chose move to->Owned, everything worked fine.
For the third one, I went through the top menus with the keyboard, ALT-D->M->Enter, I got an access violation error but after clicking OK the program kept running. My dvd was still showing in the ordered list and not in the owned list but the Move to Owned option was disabled. I had to quit and restart the program and then it showed up in the Owned list. | | | My 4x4 Club: Club FJ Cruiser Quebec DVDP Français: Forum DVD Profiler Français DVDCOL:DVD Collectors Online Video: LG RU-42PX10 Audio: Sony DreamSystem DAVFX100W |

| Posted: | | | | Another case of access violation.
The focus is in the collection list, I do CTRL-INS and from the "Add DVD's" I hit esc and then type a letter on the keyboard. I tried a few times and always get an "Access violation" error. | | | My 4x4 Club: Club FJ Cruiser Quebec DVDP Français: Forum DVD Profiler Français DVDCOL:DVD Collectors Online Video: LG RU-42PX10 Audio: Sony DreamSystem DAVFX100W |

| Posted: | | | | I have been experiencing this also. When doing a simple edit, typically a CoO or ticking a feature, when I press Ok I sometimes get an access violation. Go back and do it again and it works fine. No rhyme or reason to it that I can determine | | | |

| Posted: | | | | Don't know if this is related or not, but I've also had several 'Access Violation at adress blah, blah, blah" over the last week or so. I corrected it by closing DVDP and and then running the external Repair Utility from the Windows Profiler menu group.
That has found database errors each time and corrected them. I recommend running the utility to see if it corrects anything, then report it as a bug if it doesn't. | | | John

| Posted: | | | | having 'access violations' is a known bug.
If you have the location slot column showing for your list of profiles then you could try disabling that - it worked for me and is something that Ken suggested. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Yep... I was getting tons of access violations - did a search and found the thread mentioning the 'location' bug - and haven't had a problem since. (Of course, I'd love to show the location... ) |

| Posted: | | | | I don't have the location showing in my collection. There could be thousands of reasons for "Access violations" since it's a generic message to say something "illegally" tried to access memory at address xxxxx
If it can be reproduced at will in certain conditions then it's a bug in that part of the program and it can be fixed. | | | My 4x4 Club: Club FJ Cruiser Quebec DVDP Français: Forum DVD Profiler Français DVDCOL:DVD Collectors Online Video: LG RU-42PX10 Audio: Sony DreamSystem DAVFX100W |
