| Posted: | | | | Thanks Funky. We are going to London in October. The new Mrs. collects Steiff teddy bears. I guess the UK is a hot spot to pick them up. She doesn't complain about my DVD addiction as they as relatively inexpensive compared to a teddy bear that costs upward of $4000.00 US. She plans on taking a few home which leaves me wiggle room to complete the theatre and buy more DVD's I'll look you up and you can give me a mobile device as the wedding gift. | | | Last edited: by Bill MacNeill |

| Posted: | | | | The Freeway DVD re-release is a ripoff if you already own the old one. It states 16x9 quite clearly on the back cover, and yet the disc content is exactly the same (letterbox) as the old Republic DVD. Nice going Lions Gate! | | | Corey |

Since I did not own it, It was a good deal for me. I generally do not buy movies a second time just because they are re-released. I am more interested in the film itself than the extras thrown in on the second discs. I also prefer the Original Theater release than the ones that have additional footage. In my mind that was the release of the film and what the director intended us to see. The extras are nice but not necessary. Just my 2cents. |

Just my 2cents. Exactly, the film itself should be viewed in 16x9 format instead of a lackluster letterbox transfer stuck in 1997. And that was the reason for fans of the film to debate re-buying the disc. It certainly wasn't for any new bonus features, as none were ever announced. Of course, if you never purchased the original disc it's still a good buy! | | | Corey |

To paraphrase a promo for a TV rerun several years ago, if you haven't seen (or in this case bought) it, it's new to you! | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges.
