I used to have DVD Profiler 2.5 om my USB memory stick and use it on different computers, which worked fine one the registry items has been set.

But now DVD Profier stores its data in the "Documents & Settings" foleder for the current Windows user.

Is it possible to configure DVD Profiler 3.0 to store the data in a different location (in this case my USB memory stick) ?

TIA.

Others who have done this may give a more complete answer but I believe you can just by using creating a new database:

File -> Open Database -> New Database (add name, tick 'copy the current database' box, point at USB stick) -> OK

I *think* it still creates a DVD Profiler directory in My Documents but this is pretty much blank and the actual database data is taken from/put in the USB location.
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong

There are still folders for the layouts, reports, languages and flags left under "My Documents".
I hope Ken can change this one day so we can "user-define" where we want to have these folders.
