Good idea or not to add tabs for cast & crew for those that appear in featurettes or deleted scenes.

I think it maybe a good idea to include it.

Sometimes a director or other famous person will appear in a featurette/documentary on a film's DVD, but they actually had nothing to do with the film itself.  Say Harrison Ford appears in a featurette on Police Academy 10. He doesn't star in the film, just the featurette.

Right now there is no way to link people to all of their appearances in featurettes.

Also if deleted scenes cast credits is added to the new tab, then those actors that had their scenes cut can finally be credited in the database.

I just thought that thiis also should be added for TV series episodes that are listed under special features. For example, right now there is no way to list the credits for those that appeared in the 2 pilot episodes of Three's Company. It's a Special Feature and not part of the regular season, so they can't be added to the current database.

So, good idea or bad idea, or perhaps you may have a better idea.

IHMO a bad idea... too much work, not very useful.

But please don't take this personal, maybe others like your idea.

I daresay I must agree with Space on this. This seems to get down to a level of Triviality which does not yield enough return versus work.

What about just for pilot episodes or other TV series episodes that are on the disc, but not actually part of the season?

I presume by a pilot, you are referring to an unaired pilot. As for the second category, most of what I have seen so far (not all, but most) are bonus episodes that are covered in another set, so I am not sure but I am thinking about it
