Hello,

I have had some problems with adding movies to my collection.
Some of my DVDs have no UPC code, so I have to add them by Disc ID or by title.
The problem is, even thogh the Disc IDs do match, DVD Profiler doesn't seem to recognize the disc.
Here's what it looks like:

What I have to do is to add the movie by title, and then later find that the pre-added disc for the release appears to be exactly the same as my disc, although my disc still wouldn't be recognized.

Any ideas?

(Btw, the movie in this example is "Cannibal Holocaust: Deluxe Collector's Edition", EC Entertainment release. However, this issue seems to appear on other EC Entertainment releases as well.)

This has been noticed before with other discs.
Hopefully it's being looked into and a fix made, but in the mean time the way you have done it (adding by title and visually comparing IDs) is the best way to do it.
It only seems to affect discs from localities other than the US as I've never had a problem adding US discs.

Many "Older" released DVDs do not include Title data and will come as (undefined), not sure there is much to be done about it.

This is not the point, Skip. The title is recognized by the ID part only and should be recognized by DVDP regardless what the disc title (in this case "undefined") is. Many discs are just named Undefined, DVD Volume etc, but this should have nothing to say when it looks up the title in the database - it's just a name.

Mikkel, the UNDEFINED is the not the problem ,the "Title: unknown" is... I guess at the same time the Add DVD button was disabled.

As northbloke mentioned, this was previously discovered and will hopefully addressed in the near future.

Wasn't quite sure, but obviously misread a bit then.
