It would be nice to have a plug-in for MCE to use the data we already have while using MCE. There is already a program available that has this plug-in but is not as good as DVD Profiler.

So write a plug-in that does that.

I did originally register as a plugin developer to get an MCE viewer.

The main problem is that DVD Profiler has to be running for the data to be available. I did make an experimental plugin which would do "instant export" - meaning it would constantly keep a folder of XML exports up to date as it was changed in DVD Profiler. Unfortunately I did not find the right events in the API to make this a viable solution for large databases (strangely enough - DVD added, removed, or changed would be all I needed).

So currently my effort on this is on hold - I have waaaaaaay too many projects running to spend time on learning the MCE GUI language anyway, as it is just a temporary hack they used while waiting for WPF.
Regards
Lars
