| Posted: | | | | Hello. I have a little question. What about credited voice cast in the credits, but without matched audio track?
For example, The german "Ghost in the Shell" Ultimate Edition has the US-Master and english end-credits. There is a cast section with the english voices. But there is no english audio track.

List english voices because they are credited? Or find japanese and german voice cast from a different reliable source and use them? |

| Posted: | | | | Since we also do not include all available credited info other DVDs (for example, Disney's DVDs in Germany carry text cards with voice cast info for several languages, but we only list the original English cast and the main locality voice cast) I'd say these should not be added. | | | Lutz |

I think in the case of Anime that has the original Japanese track/sound, it should have the original cast also (the main problem from non-existing cast list in the DVD is the source of the info). So for Anime I think it should have: Cast 1-Original Japanese cast (if it's present a Japanese track) 2-Main locality voice cast PS: It's a bit strange to have in the German GitS profile the cast of an non-existing track | | | Last edited: by Professor Desty Nova |

| Posted: | | | | I don't know if it's suitable to your situation, but when I did a cast list for an anime film with different end credits (it did it via branching I believe), I used dividers to show the separate cast lists. In your situation I see nothing wrong with creating a divider at the end called "German Voice Cast" (or something similar) and then listed them there, all uncredited.
Personally I wouldn't add the english cast if you never hear them on the DVD. But that's up to you.
Edit: after re-reading your post - if the US cast are the only cast listed on the DVD (if there are no Japanese credit either) then you will have to add them to the profile before you can list uncredited cast, otherwise I think you would be breaking the rules. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

| Posted: | | | | Well, severall Ghost in the Shell (movie) editions by Manga edition (and also other animes by them) all sufer from the same: original Japanese track/sound and only the english cast credits. I have some, and would like to know how to proceed. And since it was the same problem as in this thread, I used it. PS: I now see that there are two profiles of the German edition of Ghost in the Shell. When I verified how the poster ended contributing, I had seen the one with only an english cast. Should have verified if that was the one the original poster contributed I now saw the other one, with the original cast and german cast. | | | Last edited: by Professor Desty Nova |
