How can I veiw the number of discs as opposed to the number of dvds in my collection?  If that makes any sense.

I use a few resources to keep track of my collections. Invelos is my favorite (of course!) but no one source is perfect (yet) . I'm sure there's lots of sites that you can keep track of that data, one free one I use is at http://www.dvdaficionado.com

With XSLT you can:
<xsl:value-of select="count(/Collection/DVD[CollectionType='Owned']/Discs/Disc/DiscIDSideA)"/>

cya, Mithi  624 titles, 839 discs

You can add each disc to your collection as children of the parent. That should give you a good count.

See signature. You'll need a XSLT-Processor and the "diverse-csv.xsl" from my archive.
